In the last semester, the professor required us to competitive in the Game which call "Markstrat".

In the game we had to operate two different markets which are Clinites and Nutirtes.

After seven periods competition I had learned a lot to know how to operate and manage during the game.

First, in the period 1 you need to buy all of the research study because it will influent the market research which to led you make decision. 

 

    

Second, well know how the production will be by analysis the consumer survey & panel and market forecast.

Third, there is a brand map in the semantic scales, you need to know how important about the ideal value for the segment which you decide to focus.

Fourth, create well on the R&D by analysis the ideal value evolution in the semantic scales,  because the most reason to increase the market share and the value needs to depand on the R&D.

    

Fifth, well know what the decision your competitors make by analysis the industry bencharking, in the industry bencharking you can see all the brand's Expenditures, check on how much R&D budget is for the competitors, and then go to the "decide" to run the R&D to see what the segment the competitors focus on. Above, you can avoid some competitive or decide to improve the R&D to win.

    

Sixth, well use the regression based tools for segment in the tool, because in the regression tool, in the tool you can calculate how the range for create the R&D before follow the steps three and forth and then use this tool to create more certain brand numbers to attract the segment which you focus. When you click into the check or modify in the regression tool the system is already put the calculate method, so the most important thing is to make sure what the change in the semantic scales, thinkg the change between the numbers and exceed the change in the future ideal value for the segment which you decide to focus.
